It’s a Thermal sensor made by a German company that can scan a person skin surface
The technology that scans for a person surface temperature is not new nor these devices, in countries like China and Japan the temperature scanning kiosks have been in usage for over 3 years. It’s new to the US market and was introduced due to Covid 19 pandemic.
The error in temperature scanning ranges from 0.1-0.5 Celsius and the Covid 19 kiosk doesn’t need any calibration.
Yes, the unit requires simple assembly of the stand to the screen and after that can be plugged to a 110V outlet and it’s ready to scan, connecting the unit to a network via wifi or LAN takes a few more steps which can be found via this video.
The Covid 19 kiosk will detect movement within 3-4 ft and will scan once in 2-3 ft range, the kiosk can detect you distance from the unit and alert the person to get closer.
1-2 seconds on average but some users may take 2-5 seconds on the first attempt.
The COVID-19 kiosk will sound an alarm and flash red lights, the alarm can be turned off from the system application.
The option to enforce people to wear the mask or not is in the system software and can be enabled or disabled when enabled the COVID-19 kiosk can still scan a person for temperature.
It does, it’s also an option as we are aware of some privacy concerns, the FR functionality can be disabled from the provided software
The data can be stored on the local device (100,000-500,000 records) or on a host computer on your network, we are working on a cloud-based storage solution as well. The data storing functionality is optional as well.
It can but at this stage we are not offering any integration services for clients, after the initial deployment we will work with clients to offer API integration services.

We have online agents available to help with the initial setup and we also have an online video library with how to videos. Our support is available via phone as well and online demo tools such as zoom and GoToMeeting, ongoing support is available for a monthly fee.
Yes , the software is included and as updates are made available we will share them for no extra charges. Cloud storage and API services are available with integration and monthly fees.
