Popshap Announces New Trade Show Advertising Technology Bundle for Organizers

As the pandemic took the world by storm in 2020, the pace of digital transformation has accelerated and become even more universal. As things stagger to get back to normal we saw an abundant need for new trade show advertising technology.

As we have started attending more events this year we have noticed that meaningful interactions are still expected from attendees. With engagements getting disjointed and expensive, smart advertising technology has hence come into play for creating enriched experiences and increased revenue for trade shows and event organizers.

Diverse goals and purposes may offer challenges to event organizers but our new advertising technology infuses education and entertainment to create lasting engagement and real-time analytics for every show.

This means organizers can easily customize multimedia content for sponsorship engagement in places such as reception counters, event signage, kiosk, or walkways, our advertising technology gets the job done.

Our trade show advertising technology is ready for real-time media playback on two individual interactive kiosks displays, which brings upgraded experiences for the attendees as well as flexibilities for show deployment.

These interactive kiosks bring the unlimited potential for tailor-made visual applications. With one touch kiosks showing static images while the other playing video promotion, for example, organizers now have customized digital media sponsorship content for several audiences in different locations, maximizing the trade show experience with more creatives.

We work with event organizers like you to generate more revenue with our interactive trade show advertising technology.

Our smart marketing kiosk allows you to create new revenue streams by running interactive advertisements throughout the venue on our devices. Attendees can play sponsored games, win exhibitor prizes, take branded pictures, and get the latest information about the event all from one device. And the best part is, you can charge for it!

There is no upfront cost to you. And you would be able to upsell sponsorships by offering deeper marketing analytics and customized lead generation tools.

Recap: Popshap at Vision Expo East with Studio Optyx

Last week we had the pleasure of curating an interactive experience for Studio Optyx at this year’s VEE in Orlando Florida.

This year’s show flourished as exhibitors and attendees alike donned the latest in eyewear fashion.

With no holding back, Studio Optyx showcased three of their main brands in style! Complete with branding videos, prize wheel, and photo booth. Studio Optyx generated over 100 leads just from our interactive trade show touch kiosks.

Did you know that 64% of trade show guests are not existing clients of exhibiting companies? This number shows how important these events are in promoting your business and improving your income generation potential.

These trade shows are great opportunities to meet up with vendors and prospects.

But here’s the thing!

There are other participants in your line of business striving for the same attendees’ consideration. In such a situation, you will need to do your very best to keep the trade show partakers coming to your trade show booth with innovative touch tables and interactive kiosks.

This speaks volumes about the importance of marketing your booth. By adopting these touch screen kiosks or video walls, you can be well on your way to success in attracting maximum attention, engagement, and conversion with well-crafted and well-promoted trade show kiosks.

Tips for Making Attendees Feel Comfortable at Trade Shows

There is a ton of stuff to think about when planning live trade shows and events while COVID is still a thing. The one thought that can’t be ignored is that many attendees may have a certain level of worry about gathering in large groups—regardless of how yielding trade shows are with CDC guidelines.

Take these apprehensions seriously, and ease the attendee’s fears at trade shows with the following tips.

Openly communicate safety procedures—but don’t make it all an attendee thinks about

Your attendees and your team need to know that their safety is being taken seriously—though there’s a fine line between communicating safety measures, but also not making COVID the only thing an attendee sees when they look at an event’s invite, website, or marketing resources.

Make sure attendees are aware of any screening procedures before they register

Whether you’re necessitating proof of vaccine, rapid COVID tests, and/or health surveys and temperature checks, make sure all attendees know that right off the top so they can decide what they’re comfortable with—and what they’re ready for.

Install Body Temperature Kiosk with Face Mask Recognition

Eliminate labor costs on a dedicated temperature screener, and give yourself and anyone entering your show a visible reminder that you are taking all the necessary precautions to protect their health and safety.  These body temperature scanner kiosks require no physical interaction.  Look at the camera and get the automatic temperature reading in 1-3 seconds.

Be steady with your messaging.

Whether you have a landing page or are sending email campaigns to guests, it is crucial for the messaging emphasizing the safety precautions to be consistent across the board. By sharing any pre-event marketing communication, it will also help estimate the interest of potential attendees and give them the self-assurance to attend—particularly when sharing the precautions and steps that will be taken during the event to safeguard guest safety.

In Closing

Sending out an email poll to the event attendees is super useful in gathering their reaction and learning if they felt at ease attending the in-person event if they felt the safety procedures that were communicated were correctly executed and if they would attend another in-person event. At the end of the day, it is our goal to win back the self-confidence of guests to attend in-person events.

Two Ways to Make Your Brand Stand Out at Trade Shows

Perception in business has never been more important, especially at the trade shows, where you have a small window to make a positive impression on your target audience. How you’re viewed by attendees is what eventually determines whether your show is effective (or not). If you’re going into trade shows with attendees carrying a poor perception of your brand, or no awareness at all, you’re already way behind your competition. The greatest way to get noticed and win large is to surpass expectations and stand out among your aristocrats, which brings us to…

The research team recognized 5 variables – Tangibles, Reliability, Approachability, Guarantee, and Responsiveness – that can either make or break you during connections with your possible or existing customers. Underneath, we’ll show you how applying these qualities to your in-person interactions can help you influence buyers’ opinions, exceed folks’ expectations, and profit from your next trade show.

The Bias Epidemic

Have you ever seen the look on folks’ faces while they’re on the trade show floor? Frequently, it’s a look of sheer, uncontrolled boredom, the result of attendees being blasted with sales pitches from exhibitors who view them exclusively as dollar signs.

The core cause? Marketing bias, where exhibitors tend to emphasize their needs, rather than the people there. To set your brand apart, you must be eager to be Responsive – to take care of attendees’ needs quickly and resourcefully. And needs change rapidly, which is why responsiveness is a vital factor in earning a buyer’s belief. If you stay focused on discovering people’s problems and displaying how your brand can be the answer, you’ll spare many a thankful soul from “The Bias Epidemic” and you’ll find yourself with tons of new leads!

Promise to Guarantee Success

Assurance branches from a customer’s confidence that your company is capable and trustworthy.

One of the greatest ways to raise buyer assurance at trade shows is to position your brand as an industry leader, whom others pursue out for their information and expertise. You can depict yourself as a leader by showcasing the depth of your product familiarity or providing valued insight into the nature of your trade.

When trade show attendees think, “This is a brand that really knows what it’s talking about!”, your consumer becomes more invested in their connection with you, and it creates the assurance they need to choose your brand when decision time comes.

Self-service Registration

Self-service kiosks are making checking in and out easier than ever, with the press of a button and no lines you can easily register for the event and booth you want. QR codes are another great way to promote your products as well as making it easier for the audience and customers to access information on your brand from their very own phones.

This also decreases the amount of people gathering in front of each booth, social distancing guidelines make it difficult for lots of people to gather and listen to you talk about your products. QR codes are solving that problem by making it easily accessible to give your customers all the information they need without having to gather in large groups.

Advertising

Digital touch screen kiosks make advertising and marketing your product all the better and increase foot traffic. With these digital displays you can sponsor messages and create captivating images on your kiosks which will attract an audience to your booth.

Having free charging stations are also great ways to attract people, when they come over to your booth to charge their phones it gives you the opportunity to sell them on your brand.

Customer Engagement

Customer engagement is big with trade shows and with interactive kiosks you can enhance your social media presence, while keeping customers engaged. Touchscreen displays allow you to have your customers and audience answer questions, give feedback on your products and services while keeping them entertained.

Data collection

These digital touch screen kiosks make it easy to attract as many customers as possible and analytics on the customers who are interested. You can get a kiosk with a camera which tracts the amount and the type of people who are visiting your booth. You can also link apps to the kiosk, and make it easy for visitors to input their names and email addresses. When the show is over you can log into these apps and access all of that information.

Surveys are another great way to get insights on customers and having a QR code that links to a survey on your digital display will make it convenient.

3 Major Rewards of Installing a Self Check-in Kiosk

Self check-in kiosks have been available in numerous businesses for many years, from hotels to conference centers. Now every industry is starting to use this technology to streamline their front office procedures. As more companies use check-in kiosks to have customers and personal check-in for their appointments, they’re finding a number of positive reimbursements, including improved customer satisfaction and the increased ability to meet meaningful CDC guidelines put in place.

Millennials are well-accustomed to using fast and efficient self-service replacements in several aspects of their lives, including supermarket check-outs, airline check-ins, rental cars, and online bookings. They expect no less from your industry too.

This is, without hesitation, the next phase in making your business more tech-savvy, particularly in the eyes of millennials.

Self Check-in Kiosk

Reduce Labor Costs.

The traditional method of check-in generally requires that customers stand in line to be checked in by one or more of the front desk staff. With a self check-in kiosk, check-ins can be completed by customers without having to stand in line or use the receptionist’s time. Front desk personnel can then be on hand to assist with any questions that might arise and focus more time on other demanding administrative responsibilities.

Amplified Revenue Opportunities

More often than not, customers are likely to use a self-check-in kiosk, as they can use it at any opportune hour.  Visitors will choose a peaceful and comfortable moment to register themselves. Thus, the self-check-in system will be able to get their whole attention when they are checking themselves in. It is a great chance for up-selling other products and services. In short, companies can not only automate the boring check-in process, but also recommend other value-added offers, amenities, in-house services, and special packages for regular customers through the check-in kiosk itself.

Avoiding Manual Mistakes

How many times has the greeter misspelled your name? Regrettably, we all have faced such mix-ups and the penalties thereof from time to time. Nevertheless, an automated check-in kiosk can help overcome such manual mistakes. In fact, self-check-in systems can take customer engagement to the next level.

Conclusion

Though marvelous growth opportunities exist in every sector, it is often problematic to explore them due to brutal competition. Embracing new technology is one of the best ways to gain a competitive advantage. Nevertheless, implementing a new technology such as a self-check-in kiosk becomes a lot easier if the business owner is aware of its real benefits.

Kiosk Projects For Some of the Biggest Brands in the World

Hey guys, it has been very active here at PopShap lately. We have been doing interactive kiosk projects for some of the most prominent brands around. We have created engaging experiences for everyone in attendance at the events we cater to. While you can check out on our projects page who I am referring too, I’m going to share a succinct list of some of the bigger brands we’ve worked with recently.

Healthcorps Photo Booth Kiosk

healthcorps kiosk

Healthcorps is an organization providing mental health care to teens all across America. Founded in 2003 they have since established themselves as one of the leading brands in the world on teenage mental health. They have a fundraising gala event every year. This year they called us to provide a photo booth kiosk for their party. The kiosk machine – as detailed in the project page – captured client data by having each picture sent to an email address or phone number which was stored. This helps Healthcorps expand their list of emails for newsletters or upcoming events.

People were by that kiosk all night long. There are literally hundreds of pictures taken from the event, here to highlight one.

The BENY (Bike Expo of New York) Kiosk Event

beny

We have now done this event two years in a row for BENY. They wanted custom kiosks that came equipped with virtual directories for the venue. Truthfully this was a loaded kiosk app, we put a few different functions on it.

The kiosk provided relevant information about rules and regulations, it kept people on time with the schedule and did indeed have a photo booth option as well. This also became a focal point of the event. There are hundreds of pictures here as well, and therefore hundreds of points of contact to potential customers.

Nielsen Trade Show Kiosks

NIELSEN

Nielsen as well is a client we have done more than one show for. Nielsen is one of the largest marketing analysis companies in the world. We made a really fascinating kiosk app for Nielsen Sports in London. We created a space that you step into and are surrounded by a few kiosks which come together to provide a view of the entire Stamford Bridge Stadium, where the event took place.

This interactive kiosk provided a fun way for people to learn about their marketing analytics with a trivia game, and a visual platform to show their analytics in real time. Check out that project in the page it was one of the most interesting ones.

This year they came back and had us design a kiosk for their corporate event for Nielsen Music.

They showcased their software at the Music Biz 2018 conference. Again we utilized a playful format using a trivia game to give people a positive attachment to their brand. They actually have a very unique custom kiosk program as well. This was a particularly creative project. Definitely give it a look!

Kiosks Projects

We have been active lately and these are no small projects. And we have a bunch coming up. Stay tuned to see what we come up with next!

Beautiful trade show setups

Pay attention to beauty. Beauty is the language of attraction. People literally have a natural instinct to engage with that which is beautiful. If you don’t feel competent with what is appealing bring in a specialist! It’s of paramount importance. At the end of the day, you want to know how to make your trade show booth stand out. And no matter what you use, your trade show display needs to pop.

Marketing at Trade Shows

Trade show displays offer an interesting array of marketing skills. First of all, the interpersonal skills. You have to be inviting and outgoing to draw people in with upbeat energy. That’s pretty obvious though. The best trade show booths are not only the ones with the best gadgets but also the ones with the best people.

Second is brand identity. At a trade show, you need exactly what you are and what makes you stand out. And you have to do all that in a short period of time while you still have potential clients attention.

Third, you have to be creative. If people were looking for something simple they may not travel all the way to whatever obscure hotel you happen to be setting up shop in. They would just look on google. It’s a great source of information. But they didn’t they came to find something that is unique. So polished deliveries and clear brand identity is crucial.

Speak in Smiles

Your trade show booth design is very important. But you have to actually want to meet people. Genuine smiles are much more likely to get genuine results.

kiosk smiles

Trade show booth ideas should be to make your brand stand out. That’s the most important thing at a trade show because trade shows are like speed dating. You meet a whole bunch of different potential partners in a short period of time, trying to figure out whether there is potential to work together. Obviously, you’re going to remember the ones who stand out. That’s human nature.

Custom Trade Show Booth Ideas

Make sure your booth screams your brand at all times, and large inviting custom display screens can do just that. They serve as brand advertisement, client information collection, product information education, and most importantly they look super cool.
