Covid Hits the White House, Now What?

So Covid has hit the White House.  The President and First Lady have tested positive.  Multiple people in the President's circle has as well.  Covid has now infected the most powerful man in the world, and continues to strike.  What in the world do we do now?  How’d it happen?  What went wrong?  Did the tests not work?  What else can be done? While the White House is one of the safest buildings in the world, one has to ask the question, how did this happen?  What measures were in place to prevent it from happening?  We know that tests were given to anyone who would be within the President’s circle, almost daily.  Were body temperatures being taken?  If so, how?  Were body temperature kiosks being used?  Was the President using a body temperature kiosk?  Were guests to the White House staff being screened via a body temperature kiosk?  How about staff? While so many questions remain unanswered, and more continue to develop as we face this battle everyday, one has to wonder what comes next?  When the leader of the free world and the first lady have now been impacted by Covid, will the approach to defeating this change?  Will it be done on a national scale?  What will be mandated?  Will body temperature kiosks be as normal as walking through the door somewhere?  This certainly is a new set of circumstances that everyone feared, but never thought would come to fruition. So now we wait and send our thoughts and well wishes to the President, the First Lady, and all those who have been affected by this horrible disease.  We wish them well and hope that they continue to feel better and return to full strength and health very, very, soon.
