American Planning Association NPC26
Huntington Place Convention Center, Detroit, MI April 25–28, 2026
OVERVIEW
The American Planning Association NPC26 required a scalable solution to support attendee navigation and communication across the show floor. With multiple areas, sessions, and exhibitors, the focus was on creating a clear and accessible system that could guide attendees efficiently while maintaining a cohesive visual presence.
Touchscreen kiosks, LED towers, and digital displays were implemented to create a connected experience that improved movement and reduced friction throughout the event.
SOLUTION
Touchscreen table kiosks were deployed throughout the venue as the central navigation system. Positioned in high traffic areas, they provided quick access to exhibitor lists, floor maps, schedules, and sponsor information, allowing attendees to find what they needed in real time.
LED towers were placed across the show floor to extend communication beyond the kiosks, delivering directional messaging, sponsor placements, and key event information at scale.
Additional digital displays and LED elements were used to support branding and create a consistent visual layer across the environment, ensuring attendees remained informed and engaged from multiple touchpoints.
CAPABILITIES
This setup created a connected navigation and communication system that improved how attendees moved through the event. Touchscreen kiosks reduced confusion and allowed for faster decision making, while LED towers and digital displays ensured messaging remained visible and consistent across the floor.
By combining interactive navigation with large scale digital communication, the event delivered a more efficient, user friendly experience while maintaining a strong, modern visual presence.
